What is Mugai-Ryuu?

The originator of Mugai-Ryuu is Tuji Gettan Suiemochi. Previous name was Heinai.
Born in 1648, he studied Yamaguchi-ryuu at the age of 13 to 26 and obtained a license.
Yamaguchi-ryu is a school founded by Yamaguchi Umanosuke Ietoshi (Bokusihinsai),
andat the time of its establishment, it was only three forms of two swords and two
forms of big swords.
Later, disciple Shintomita added seven forms of big swords, seven forms small sword
(Wakizashi),
forms of big swords was called front, forms small sword was called back.
It has been inherited at Toyama-han until the first year of Meiji (1868).

Heinai opened a dojo in Edo as a licensee of the Yamaguchi-ryuu.
In addition, at the same time from the necessity of learning and training of mind, he practiced Zen

In 1693 (the 6th year of the Genr. Gen.), Heinai changed its name to Sukemochi, and
the school changed its name to Mugai-ryuu.
Mugai-Ryuu continues from the Edo period to the Meiji period, and Shiryu Nakagawa,
the 11th master added his own ingenuity to Iai and Kenjyutsu, and began Mugai-Ryuu Iai Hyoudou.
What we are learning is this Mugai-Ryuu Iai Hyoudou.
After Shiryu Nakagawa, there are several Mugai-Ryuu license universalists, one of them is Niina Gyokusou . We, Syougyokukai, belong to Gyokusou Niina who is Soke of Mugai-Ryuu(Meishiha).

What is Genkou Nitou-Ryuu?

Genkou Nitou-Ryuu is a school of Yamaguchi-Ryu that has been reorganized by
Niina Gyokusou, Soke of Mugai-Ryuu(Meishiha) .
1.Cut in the "shortest and fastest".
2.It cuts with "the movement which saves the waste as much as possible".
We are focusing above things.
After training Mugai-Ryuu, we studied Yamaguchi-Ryuu, the source of the Mugai-Ryuu,
and arrived at the time of the founding two sword school.
Two swords are stronger than one sword. If you fight against two swords with
one sword, you have to think about how to deal with the two unknown blades
that come from up, down, left, right.
You will be killed while you are thinking.
It is a simple logic to say which of two swords and one sword is stronger.
Don't you practice the strongest Genkou Nitou-Ryuu with us?
